An independent study into patients’ attendance at North Middlesex University Hospital’s emergency department (ED) has examined 37,000 pieces of data and undertaken more than 600 individual interviews to determine what brings patients to the ED rather than use another NHS service, even for conditions that are not life-threatening like coughs, colds and sore throats.

You can pay at new machines or using card by phone

Our facilities partner Medirest has been contracted to manage the car park service at North Middlesex University Hospital. The system uses automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) cameras, and new payment machines have been installed in the main car park. You can can also pay by card by phoning Just Park on 07453 488020. The site location number is 179047.

Please make sure you pay correctly for your car parking.

New community sexual health clinic to open on Valentine’s Day

London’s newest sexual health clinic officially opens its doors on Valentine’s Day (14 February) to help amorous people remain in good health on the most romantic day of the year.
 
Anyone will be able to pop in to the Silverpoint Medical Centre in Fore Street, Edmonton, and use the “check and go” service for sexually transmitted infections as well as get family planning advice and have access to contraception. The service also provides a young persons’ clinic for those aged 18 and under.

Defenders Jan Vertonghen, Toby Alderweireld and Juan Foyth and Ladies team striker Bianca Baptiste visited a dozen youngsters on the hospital’s Rainbow and Starlight wards.


New chief executive Maria meets 100 staff and patients
