Bimal Patel will take up the role of chief finance officer at North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust from March 2020. He replaces David Stacey, current director of finance, following his move out of London to Devon, where he joins Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust. Bimal joins the Trust from London North West London University Healthcare NHS Trust, where he is interim chief finance officer.
Bimal has over 19 years of NHS acute provider experience and six years as a deputy finance director. Bimal is a CIMA qualified accountant and has worked at all levels within finance, from a Trainee accountant to Head of Financial Management and then to Head of Financial Control. This has led him on to deputy finance director roles, including at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust.

I’m passionate about supporting clinical teams deliver the very best care for people in Enfield and Haringey and it will be a great privilege to work with such fantastic people.”
