Junior doctors' strike on 1 December cancelled

A national strike by junior doctors today (1 December) has been cancelled following an agreement reached last night (30 November). North Middlesex University Hospital’s accident and emergency will be working normally today. However, regrettably any appointments at the hospital which have already been cancelled will remain cancelled. They will be rescheduled as quickly as possible.

Junior doctors at North Middlesex University Hospital are expected to take strike action on Tuesday 1 December due to a national dispute over junior doctors’ contracts. Those junior doctors who are in work will provide emergency cover only. As a result there will be some changes to our normal services on the day. Find out more.
