Local paediatrician Dr Victoria Jones of North Middlesex University Hospital scooped a national Paediatric Award for Training Achievements from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). The annual Paediatric Awards for Training Achievements recognise children’s doctors who have gone the extra mile to ensure the best possible care for their colleagues and young patients. Dr Jones won in the category of Best Educational Supervisor. The annual awards - presented on May 26 - are hotly contested with nominations from across the country.

Emails working again following checks to prevent cyber attacks

We're pleased to say that email communications to and from the hospital are working normally again following a temporary outage since Friday 12 May as a result of precautionary checks to prevent cyber attacks.

The hospital's services have continued to run normally.   

Patients who need to change an appointment can once more email northmid.centralappointments@nhs.net or call 020 8887 3663 / 3664.  GPs who wish to make a referral can email northmid.referrals@nhs.net or call 020 8887 3663 / 3664. 

GP blood test appointments can be booked online at www.northmid.nhs.uk/Our-Services/Blood-tests or by calling 020 8887 2366 (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm). Booking a blood test appointment online enables patients to avoid queues of up to two hours at busy times.
