She is actively involved in research, teaching and recruits into national and commercial clinical trials. Another key area of interest is service improvement in the modern NHS and over the years has she held a number of leadership roles.

Dr Hannah Chapman studied medicine at Cambridge University, gaining a BA in Pharmacology in 2003. She continued her studies Royal Free and University College Medical School and graduated in 2006. She completed her clinical oncology training in the East Midlands and North London. In 2014, Dr Chapman graduated from the Institute of Cancer Research, University of London with an MSc in Oncology. Her research project was in the health economics of accelerated chemotherapy. She was appointed consultant clinical oncologist at North Middlesex University Hospital in June 2018, specializing in the management of early and advanced breast cancer. She is committed to providing excellent care to the local community and to improving patient care through clinical research.

Dr.Chowdhury has expertise in a wide variety of oncological treatments and is part of the Acute Oncology Team. She specialises in the systemic treatment of lung and breast cancer including targeted molecules and immunotherapy. She has a particular interest in advanced radiotherapy techniques such as 4D planning, IGRT and IMRT. She is actively involved in research, teaching and recruits into national and commercial clinical trials. She has led in a number of service improvement projects and been in leadership roles.

Dr Khurum Khan is a research-active consultant who trained in medical oncology at the Northern Ireland Cancer Centre and Royal Marsden Hospital London. He has set-up and run large multicentre academic and translational studies in early and advanced gastrointestinal cancers.

 

He has presented in international conferences, public forums and published several high impact papers in peer-reviewed journals. Also passionate about teaching and played an active role in improving the educational experience of the junior doctors nationally. His main aim is to improve care and experience of patients diagnosed with early stage and late stage gastrointestinal cancers along with continuing the efforts to improve future care of such patients by active involvement in translational research projects.
