Oncology research

Oncology research is well established at North Middlesex University Hospital and has been operational for more than 20 years. The department is very experienced, has successfully run hundreds of trials, and has contributed to new and novel techniques becoming standard models of care.

Division 6 research

Division 6 of the Clinical Research Network covers various specialities including HIV, Anaesthesia and Critical Care, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Opthalmology, Surgery and ENT. The team here at the North Middlesex has been successfully running trials for more than 15 years and is continuing to expand in its scope.

Women’s health research

This division covers all obstetrics and gynaecology studies. Its strong, multi-disciplinary team includes consultants, nurses, midwives, international research fellows and sonographers. We aim to provide improved continuity of care while answering the most current research hypothesis.
