Santa helps Nuffield Health Gym deliver early Christmas presents for young patients at North Mid
Paediatric patients at North Mid kicked off December in traditional style by opening the first day of their advent calendar gifted to them by a local gym.
Nuffield Health Gym in Enfield and its members kindly donated 180 advent calendars for young patients to get them in the festive spirit.
Making their second donation of the year following a visit at Easter, staff and members of the local gym came together to bring some “chocolate joy” to patients at North Mid during the festive season.
Calling on a famous friend, the advent calendars were delivered to our paediatric wards and outpatient areas by Santa himself!
Speaking to North Mid staff, Santa said “It was a pleasure to meet some of the young patients on the wards at North Mid today and hand deliver them their advent calendars.
“The visit was a little earlier than I usually do but Dasher, Rudolph and my elves made sure we made it to the ward and back in plenty of time.”
