Sean's 10k run for North Mid's Neonatal Unit

Local resident Sean McCowen ran 10km this morning (2 August) to fundraise for North Mid's neonatal unit. Starting his run at North Mid and finishing at Arnos Grove park, Sean wanted to fundraise to say thank you to the Neonatal team for looking after his son, Leo, who was born at North Mid 1 year ago today.

"Leo was delivered by emergency c-section and so they looked after him for a few days after he was born. We were so worried but they did such a great job explaining everything to us and were very patient with us when we asked questions. It was a tough time and they really helped us through it.  We can never repay them for what they have done for us, but we wanted to say thank you and give something back."

Sean has raised over £1000 for the Neonatal Unit so far, and if you'd like to donate, you can do so here
