Delivering our vision

Our vision at North Mid is to provide outstanding care for local people. Our Patient First strategy sets our how we will deliver on this vision, our True North.

Our executive team is responsible for setting the strategic direction for us here at North Mid and they have summarised our intentions under five strategic themes:

Each of these strategic themes has an associated strategic initiative, corporate projects and breakthrough objectives. 

  • Strategic initiatives are “Must Do Can’t Fail” strategic programmes of work to drive forward and support delivery of True North.
  • Corporate projects are "Start and Finish organisational wide or complex projects” that need to deliver this year to help deliver True North
  • Breakthrough objectives “focus the organisational improvement energy” to turn the dial on delivery of True North.
