Interim chief nurse
Lenny Byrne is an established nurse leader with several years of experience as a senior nurse. He has been chief nurse and director of integrated professions at University Hospitals Plymouth from March 2019 to May 2023 where he led the trust’s response to Covid-19. He has worked in nursing and leadership roles across the NHS, private and charity sector as well as amassing international experience by undertaking a two-year overseas project in Dubai.
He joined North Mid in November 2023.
