A match made in music for patients and staff
North Mid Charity funds 24 weeks of music performances for patients and staff across the Trust.
Following a successful trial earlier in the year, North Mid Charity has funded a project to have musicians from Live Music Now attend North Mid to provide music performances across the Trust for the rest of 2023.
Starting from August, North Mid will have its very own ‘resident’ musician in attendance visiting wards across the Trust every Wednesday to perform for patients, staff and volunteers to spread some musical joy.
Mete Redif, fundraising and communications manager at North Mid said:
“We are delighted to be working with the amazing musicians from Live Music Now to deliver this heart-warming project across the Trust. The trial days were a huge success, and we are so grateful to former Mayor of Enfield Sabri Ozaydin for his donation to North Mid Charity whilst in office which has supported this project.
We look forward to rolling out the programme Trust wide starting in August and hope that we will be able to secure further funding to extend the project in to 2024.”
