Emergency care at North Mid showcased in new documentary

How does emergency healthcare operate at night across the country? We find out in a new series of Channel 5 documentary series A&E After Dark, featuring staff from North Middlesex University Hospital NHS Trust.

The programme, which enters its fifth season, shows the minute-by-minute decisions made by staff in the A&E department at North Mid and two other Trusts across the country.

Dr Anmar Alkhamesi, emergency medicine consultant and clinical director for emergency medicine at North Mid said:

“We’re proud to provide expert urgent and emergency care to our local community and A&E After Dark highlights the essential role our teams play in supporting people at their most vulnerable. It has been a privilege to be able to shine a light on our teams who deliver life-saving care with compassion.”

Tune into A&E After Dark on 5Star on Thursdays at 9pm. The final episode will go out on 15 February, with the series also available to stream on the My5 app.

A&E After Dark is produced by CrackIt Productions.
